Spent the night car camping at the Chipmunk Flat campground (my usual choice for overnight acclimation). Couple cars at Sonora Pass and I'd see the owners of both shortly. There was a PCT hiker (Doug) waiting at the pass trying to hitch a ride to Bridgeport.

The PCT makes a long switchbacking semi-circle around this bowl. There's a pair of PCT hikiers in the bottom left (under the tree) These were the only northbound people I'd pass today.

There's a couple blips on the trail ahead of me. One was a backpacker who would stop at Latopie Lake. The other was a father/son out dayhiking. Would pass them both up atop the ridge.
